The Douglas Coldwell Layton Foundation has established an annual lecture series tour at 8 universities, in 8 major cities across Canada to help educate people about democracy, government, and civic responsibility.
These lecture events are designed to inspire students and non-students alike towards finding social democratic solutions for today's challenges.
Each lecture is given by an expert, or experts in their field focuses on a specific area where social democracy intersects with our modern society and how we can make a better world for everyone.
This brand new initiative helps fulfill Tommy Douglas' dream to make a significant impact in the democratic education of Canadians.
