The webinar Lift the Floor: How Provinces Can Provide Protection for All is the first of the 2020 Digital Convening Series, launched by the Broabent Institute in partnership with the Douglas-Coldwell Foundation.

In this unprecedented time, amid COVID-19, the federal government is making new investments and developing new programs quickly to respond to the developing economic crisis. However, many people persistently excluded from income and program support will not be helped by federal funding and policy announcements. Provinces have a critical role to play in supporting people during this time.
