Friends of
Tommy Douglas

Tommy Douglas had a dream to establish a charity to help educate Canadians about Social Democracy, Politics, Government, and the incredible contributions progressive ideas have made to our society including the work of Labour Unions and the benefits of Public Health Care. In January 2021, a restoration project was launched by our Executive Director to modernize, professionalize, and restore Tommy’s Charity, now the Douglas Coldwell Layton Foundation.

By becoming a Friend of Tommy Douglas monthly donor you see the value in education as a means to fight back against inequality. All donations will be used towards reestablishing vital academic scholarships, producing new and original research, providing training to grassroots advocates, and supporting Women in Leadership to inspire future generations.

As a Friend of Tommy Douglas you receive exclusive benefits including special announcements, events, activities, and more. Your support is 100% eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

Tommy's dream was to build a charitable home for progressives and he entrusted this charity to us. The Friends of Tommy Douglas are the keepers of his legacy and you are keeping his dream alive.

Join or upgrade to $20 per month during the month of October to be eligible to receive a Tommy Douglas bobble head (while supplies last).
